BT's Risk Cockpit has been shortlisted at the Business Continuity Awards 2007, a programme which celebrates the drive to improve standards across the IT continuity and risk industry.
Risk Cockpit is shortlisted in the Most Innovative Product of the Year category, along with entries from Siemens Insight Consulting and RIM BlackBerry Enterprise.
Risk Cockpit is a product with an IT system at its core that enables executives and others to visualize the ICT risks their organizations face, and their levels of exposure to that risk.
The product’s name refers to the clearly-designed interfaces that, like an aircraft’s cockpit, enable the people in charge to set the course they want their organization to take – in terms of ICT risk exposure – and see their current position at a glance, probe behind abnormal indicators, and initiate necessary corrective action.
Risk Cockpit is part of the Compliance & Operational Risk Management Services portfolio offered by the Business Continuity, Security & Governance Practice.
The Business Continuity Awards is the premier awards evening for the continuity insurance and risk industry, and as such the quality and number of its entries increases each year.
