BT has created a dedicated business unit - the 21C Global Venture - for the delivery of next-generation networks (NGN) to communication providers around the globe. The 21C Global Venture is a joint initiative between the Global Telecom Markets (GTM) division within BT Global Services and the BT Group Technology Office. This creates a virtual Centre of Excellence within BT that brings together GTM’s existing relationships with operators around the world, with the technical specialists from the Group CTO office who played a fundamental role in architecting 21CN.

The 21C Global Venture will offer a full range of NGN services named BT 21C Transformation Services ranging from consulting, audit, design and build, through to operation and maintenance.

Next-generation networks and systems enable communication providers to deliver innovative services, increase speed to market and improve customer service, while taking advantage of significant cost savings. The first customer to benefit from these services will be Turk Telekom, following a support agreement between BT and Oger Telecom.
