Award confirms BT is best

The award for Best Global Wholesale Offering in the annual Global Wholesale Awards has been won by the Global Telecom Market (GTM) unit in the BT Global Services for its 21st century (21C) operator services. Subject to the awards win were GTM’s 21 century operator services.
Organised by Capacity Magazine, the prestigious awards seek to recognise those market players who, through applying effective techniques and strategies to their wholesale businesses, have established themselves at the forefront of the wholesale telecom industry.
In choosing BT to win the Best Wholesale Global Offering category of the awards, the judges felt that, “BT Global Services’ high quality network and its continued investment reflects its leadership in the market. Research also shows that customers respect BT Global Services’ commitment to innovation and its service offering.”

Global Telecom Markets awarded service innovation prize

Frost & Sullivan presented BTGS Global Telecom Markets (GTM) its first important industry award at the BT VIP Forum on the 21st Century Network in Hong Kong in December.
The F&S citation read, "Frost & Sullivan is proud to congratulate the Global Telecom Markets unit of BTGS for being conferred the 2006 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Wholesale Network Service Innovation Award. This Award recognizes BT as leading the charge in the industry in transforming itself through its 21CN project. BT has a tremendous opportunity in taking this capability and knowledge base to Asia Pacific service providers and helping them in their transformation."
Frost & Sullivan partner Manoj Menon presented the award to Karsten Lereuth, president of GTM.

BT wins Global Wholesale Carrier Excellence Awards

BT received two 2006 Global Wholesale Carrier Excellence Awards from ATLANTIC-ACM, a Boston-based telecommunications industry research consultancy. The awards for Customer Interface and Provisioning were based on customer ratings. For additional information, click here.
