BT has extended its global MPLS network with new nodes launched in Brazil and Argentina, via network provider ImpSat. This brings the total number of MPLS Points of Presence (PoPs) in Latin America and the Caribbean to 19. The new nodes, located in Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, offer flexible access, performance and support:

2048K via V35 at a customer’s site, with optional G703 interfaces available if distance or CPE required

Speeds above E1 are also available. E3/T3 access is usually available in major commercial and business cities and regions of Brazil and Argentina

BT’s Global MPLS coverage now reaches more than 80 countries and over 1,100 PoPs. Further extensions to the network are planned throughout this year, including additional nodes in Singapore, Stockholm, Tokyo and Hong Kong, and new nodes in Melbourne, Nuremburg, Hanover, Luxembourg, Jersey, Slovenia, Peru and Johannesburg.
