BT Internet Access Service offers businesses connection to the Internet to provide employees with access to the Web, transport for emails and the ability to build Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) across the BT global network.

  • Domain Name Services - primary and secondary domain names services (DNS) - BT can provide both primary and secondary DNS to ensure that your domains operate on redundant systems offering resiliency and no single point of failure.
  • USENET News Feed; - BT Usenet News provides an on-line information-based news service allowing you to configure desktop browsers accordingly to meet your business needs.
  • 24x7x365 monitoring and maintenance in Europe, US,Asia Pac and Latin America.
  • Protocol supported - Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and static routing.
  • IP address allocation (in accordance with RFC policy) - BT allocates IP addresses using Class C Block in accordance with the RIPE database.
  • Mail Fallback Service – In the event of your own mail server failing, the network mail server will store all incoming mail data and will retry the delivery process on a regular basis.
  • Network Reporting - Network Performance statistics displaying latency and packet loss are updated hourly and available publicly on  http://ippm.bt.net 
  • Network information including maps, peering details and Looking Glass tools can be found at http://www.bt.net 
  • Customer reporting - BT Internet Access offers up-to-date and real-time reporting features through a web-based secure system.
  • High- and multiple-access speeds - access speeds ranging from 64Kbps to 622Mbps are supported by a 2.5Gbps and 622Mbps backbone in Europe, and 6 x 2.5 Gbps across the Atlantic.
  • Fixed or Burstable billing options- to meet your fixed and variable bandwidth utilisation needs.
  • Multi-homed solutions - BT can assist you to implement multi-homed solutions using BGP.
  • Resiliency- offering failover and loadbalancing resiliency using static and BGP routeing.
  • Service level agreements - BT offers competitive guarantees on installation times, service availability and packet loss.
  • Managed routers - offering a bundled router on your LAN using Cisco Router Series
