Visa
With help from BT, Visa has transformed its CEMEA network infrastructure, resulting in greatly increased levels of speed and availability.
Visa International is a service association owned by 21,000 member banks that provide over a billion Visa cards worldwide. Following a period of rapid growth, Visa realised that its CEMEA infrastructure was struggling to keep up with customer demands in terms of transaction times and availability.
By selecting BT as its single supplier, Visa benefited from a comprehensive migration path that allowed it to cater for the carrying needs of its network across 51 countries.
Using a solution that includes terrestrial and satellite technologies across 265 sites and 51 countries, BT has enabled Visa to reduce transaction times by 40% and achieve 99.98% availability.
Further, by using a single supplier, Visa has been able to reduce the complexity of its network, resulting in lower network management costs.
