What payment options do I have?
You can decide to pay by Credit Card or via Invoice. If you choose to pay against an invoice, please enter your purchase reference number in the enrolment form.

We accept the following Credit Cards:

Website will not accept my Credit Card details?
When entering your card details you should not include spaces or dashes (e.g.: example: 01234567890123456). If this fails please try using a different credit card, or pay by purchase order.

How do I apply for a refund/replacement?
Refunds may be given but only within the first 30 days. Please ensure you have revoked your certificate before requesting a refund. Please click here for BT's refund policy.

If you have made an error on enrolment and the error is within 30 days from enrolment then you can apply for a free replacement.

  • Go to the BT Trust Services website
  • Please ensure you have your 'challenge phase' to hand
  • Choose Certificate Management
  • Select either Secure Server or Global Server Certificate and
  • Choose the Replace option.
  • You will be asked to Search for the certificate you wish to replace.
  • Once you have entered the Common Name and on the returned results selected the certificate you wish to replace, under the details will be the option to Replace.
  • Now you are asked for the challenge phrase.
  • Entering the correct challenge phrase will allow sight of the previous enrolment details and from here you have the option to change the CSR, Organisational, or Technical contact details. Once this is complete the Technical contact will be sent the conformation e-mail with PIN number (for progress purposes), then the replaced certificate.

Do I pay UK VAT if my company is based outside of the UK?
As of 1st July 2003, electronically ordered and fulfilled products, such as BT Trust Services' Server Certificates, are exempt of UK VAT if sold to VAT-registered businesses outside the UK, or to any customers outside the EU. Such customers will now be billed exclusive of VAT. If you believe you have been billed inclusive of VAT in error, please contact our customer services team as below to arrange a refund.

Why do I need to pay UK VAT - if I'm based outside of the UK?
Some MPKI Solutions from BT Trust Services do not fall within HM Government's VAT exemptions (e.g. where they require PSO to support fulfilment), and will therefore still be billed inclusive of VAT to all customers. However it is possible for companies outside of the UK to claim back the VAT via the UK Government.
